New Beginnings in 2011

As we end the year of 2010 we are all done with all of the holiday celebrations and time to start the new year on the right foot with all of those New Year's Resolutions that rarely make it to the end of the year.

I know that 2011 is definitely going to be a new beginning for me because to end the year 2010 I became a first time homeowner and time to leave the past behind me and move on with the future.  No I didn't move to a new house I still am living in the same house but in 2011 I can make it mine.  It is the house that I grew up in and has many good memories.  It was my Grandma and Grandpa's house so I have called it home for many years.  For my daughter Becky this is the only home that she has ever known because we have lived with my grandparents most of the years of her life so I felt it my goal that after my Grandma passed away in May of 2009 to buy the house.  So in 2010 I set out to do just that and let me be the first to tell you I thought that it was going to be quick process and yes it tested my patience because just when I thought that we were going to finally close on the house something would come up that would set me back there was a time that I thought that it wasn't meant for me to purchase this house and I even thought about giving up and looking for another place to call my home.  I prayed to God everyday since I started this process to purchase the house in hoping that he would send me a sign that yes it was the right decision that I was making so I just left it in the hands of God and my Faith in him would let me see the light at the end of this tunnel and let me finally put the end of a stressful year.

So here is to new beginnings in 2011 all I have to say is hang in there when you think that a decision you are making isn't going to happen all you need is a little faith and patience and if it is meant to be it will happen.
